DGT has put on an exhibit at Baselworld 2014, titled Compressed Time. The work is made up of hundreds of dangling metal watch plates for a symbolic representation.
The exhibition was put on for Citizen, a watch company that wanted the firm to showcase their products in a way that was forward-thinking and provoking. When looking up at the design, it seems as if thousands of shimmering stars are hanging from the ceiling of the room, reflecting the light shining from various corners. The exhibit is intended to be slightly overwhelming, making viewers think about their place in the universe, and just how vast the solar system actually is. Hopefully Compressed Time will also result in a few sales for the Citizen watch company. Photo Credits: designboom, dgtarchitects
