Eco-Products Unveils Its New Compostable Wooden Cutlery

Eco-Products has revealed its latest sustainable wooden cutlery. Wendell Simonson, Director of Marketing for Eco-Products, said: "This new wooden cutlery is a significant addition to our GreenStripe line. Fiber-only alternatives are becoming increasingly popular, and now there is an offering that doesn't require food service operators to sacrifice on design or performance."

The wooden cutlery is made from Forest Stewardship Council-certified birch wood, complete with a unique, user-friendly design. The cutlery consists of wooden spoons, forks, and 6.5-inch knives with a ridge in the handle for a firmer grip and durability. They also have CMA-S (Substrate Acceptance) from the Composting Manufacturing Alliance. Additionally, the cutlery received a 100 percent biobased score from the USDA BioPreferred Program, assuring consumers the product contains a government-verified amount of renewable biological ingredients.
