The Tight Appartement Spectral Was Designed by Betillon and Dorval-Bory

This insanely compact Parisian studio was designed by French architecture firms Betillon and Dorval-bory. The ingenious studio apartment was created in a renovated classical French townhouse. Whilst the living quarters contain the bare minimum for comfortable modern day living, the designers have ingeniously made the most of this cramped urban abode using smart paint and lighting techniques.

The end of the apartment, where the bedroom is contained (upstairs) and the bathroom (downstairs) is illuminated in a yellow light that clearly distinguishes it from the rest of the starkly white room. It's amazing to see what visual trickery and feng shui light can bring to a home using such simple effects. Although you might not have initially thought it possible, two people can quite comfortably live in this studio apartment.
