This Highly Compact Electric Car is Designed For Short Urban Trips

Japanese automaker Toyota has launched a high-performance compact electric car that is designed to service the needs of individuals who require an eco-friendly solution for short-distance trips in urban environments.

The C+pod makes use of an electric motor that draws its power from a lithium-ion battery pack, allowing it to attain a top speed of up to 60 km/h and a range of around 150 km on a full charge, which takes five hours to achieve using a 200-volt charger.

This compact electric car is offered in 670 kg and 690 kg variants, with both versions coming with collision avoidance technology.

Currently only available to purchase in Japan, the Toyota C+pod is ideal for trips within cities.
