Lithuanian contemporary designers Marija Puipaitė and Vytautas Gečas have released a comfortable seating collection that pushes the boundaries of modern aesthetic. The range is highly detailed and it includes an armchair, a stool, a saddle chair, and a console table.
The silhouettes of the comfortable seating collection are highly intricate, featuring "a structure of numerous beech dowels held together with wood-and-brass clasps."The poles are cut in different lengths in order to satisfy the ergonomic functionality of the furniture. Appropriately dubbed 'Envisioned Comfort,' Marija Puipaitė and Vytautas Gečas' models also include a soft upholstery that successfully juxtaposes itself against the base material. This is described to provide "a purely technical solution on how to connect soft and hard parts."
The 'Envisioned Comfort' capsule is created to be part of an exhibition curated by Israeli Designer Erez Nevi Pana.
