Designer Campbell Hay and ping pong specialist Art of Ping Pong collaborated to create a series of colorful ping pong tables. In total, the series includes eight tables that feature contrasting graphics and bold typography. The goal was to "capture the dynamic nature and signature moves of ping pong."
Two of the ping pong tables are currently available for public play at London's Islington Square. These two were designed slightly larger than the others and are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester with polished steel legs. Their nets are made to be weather resistant for outdoor use. The other six tables are made from laminated birch plywood and displayed at The Gallery at Islington Square until September 2021.
