Uniqlo has paired up with Hana Tajima who is a fashion designer and blogger to create a line of colorful hijabs that cater to the diverse needs and styles of Muslim females. The line is called LifeWear and it seeks to modernize traditionally black hijabs.
The idea behind this fresh line of hijabs is to provide options to Muslim females and to encourage expression through traditional headscarves. The hijabs are made using bright colors, pastel colors, patterned designs and they all use lightweight material to combat the heat. Along with these vibrant hijabs, the LifeWear collection includes blouses, skirts and trousers as well.
This entire collection of colorful hijabs and clothing items are available for sale in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
