Bodega and Vans have revealed their latest collaborative mid-top sneakers in an OG Chukka LX' Mid-Top Modern' Pack. The sneakers are a reference to when Vans came on the footwear scene during the mid-century period, according to Bodega.
The sneakers are also dressed in various colors that pay tribute to the unused surplus uniforms, clothing, and accessories post-World War 2. The sneakers contain two colorways of pink uppers with a black lacing system and white uppers with a white lacing system inspired by mid-century interior design. The first pair arrives in suede to represent the mid-century period’s rough-out material, while the other pair arrives in canvas to embody call-out workwear. The sneakers also contain breathable mesh tongues, vulcanized rubber sole units, branded insoles, and lace tips. The sneakers will be available for purchase on April 14.
