The 'Dot/Dot' coffee pod machine is a conceptual product design that imagines a kitchen appliance that looks like it's prepared for implementation on the International Space Station (ISS).
Designed by Younggyu Kwon, the 'Dot/Dot' coffee machine mixes several style aesthetics including the look and shape of the planets with regard to the coffee pods and the look of a rocket ship regarding the actual appliance itself.
The 'Dot/Dot' coffee pod machine features a touchscreen interface that is circular in design and that's implemented into the brewing head portion of the appliance. It comes as a response to brands like Nespresso that are taking a more design-conscious approach to the products and technology that we use everyday in order to make it more appealing and aesthetically pleasing.
