Rocky Mountain Soap Co. is doing their part to help transform food waste products into second life skincare with its Grounded soap bar that is fashioned using coffee ground waste. The coffee beans are implemented into the soap to add fragrance as well as a natural exfoliant to wake the body up and leave it buffed of dead skin cells.
The Grounded soap bar is what Rocky Mountain Soap Co. refers to as its "version of a breakfast 'bar'" that mixes sweet notes of espresso, vanilla and cardamon spice to create a scent that is reminiscent of a freshly brewed cup of java. The bar contains coffee grounds collected from a local Canmore cafe called Rave Coffee. The waste is repurposed and used as a natural skincare scrub for the entire body.
