The Cocoon Villas are located in Mexico's San Luis Potosi region. The area is a geographical and cultural region known for its myriad waterfalls, turquoise river streams, canyons, and lush jungles. GAS Architectures wanted to contribute to the region's slim catalog of eco-friendly architecture and tourist accommodations. They recently unveiled the visuals for a cluster of conic villas.
Located in the verdant woodlands of Huasteca potosina, the Cocoon Villas will offer panoramic views of the surrounding environment through a glass facade. The framing is crisscrossed with diamond bamboo joists. It supports and protects each villa's structure with waterproof and insect repellent properties. The villas comprise two floors - the bottom floor is reserved for social gatherings while the top floor hosts the sleeping arrangements.
