Coca-Cola UK introduces a new sustainable bottle cap solution that ensures a more eco-friendly approach to recycling. It recently rolled out last week and will expect all bottles of Coke, Coke Zero Sugar, Diet Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Dr. Pepper by the year 2024 in the UK. Jon Woods, the General Manager at Coca-Cola Great Britain states that "This is a small change that we hope will have a big impact, ensuring that when consumers recycle our bottles, no cap gets left behind."
This is all a part of the brand's global initiative 'World Without Waste" and it embodies the 2030 goal of collecting and recycling empty bottles or cans for each one sold. It is also working to make its cans and bottles with at least 50% recycled materials by 2030 and its packaging entirely recyclable by 2025.
