Chinese fashion label COC CUBE unveiled its full range of technical garments for Spring/Summer 2018. The label draws a strong influence from science fiction concepts for its latest seasonal range, but specifically from George Orwell and Stanley Kubrick. COC CUBE tapped into the ideas of Orwell's 1984 novel and Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange novel when designing the range.
There are accenting details drawn from the books, such as the original name of Orwell's book 'THE LAST MAN IN EUROPE' adorning some of the apparel. The COC CUBE collection reworks tailoring techniques as well; this can be seen on pieces such as the double-breasted jacket and its matching shorts, as they boast loose and boxy cuts. Additionally, there's also a range of shirts that pair well with the detailed pattern suits, relaxed track pants, wide-cut cargo pants and bags.
