Berlin-based label Overkill works in collaboration with sportswear label Reebok on a limited edition launch surrounding the Club C 85 sneaker silhouette. The inspiration behind the show was the year 1985, specifically in East Berlin when it was a communist territory. To accentuate the concept, there are 80s-inspired green color hues throughout its corduroy details, lining, and multi-mix pattern fabrications -- it imitates the prevalent green colors of wallpapers, tablecloths, and floor designs in East Berlin during the era. There are also lace keepers that see the word "Bückware," which means"stoop-down goods" and is a slang reference to limited items that were traded under the counter in stores.
The sneaker itself is crafted from premium leather throughout its uppers with green corduroy on the tongue and heel. There are gold details throughout its branding accents found across its uppers, tongue tab, and insoles crafted from satin.
