The Clarity Ensemble Phone targets the hearing impaired. It features closed caption capabilities that make conversing on the phone much easier. Essentially, this telephone is equipped with a tablet that displays a transcript of the on-going conversation in real time. This allows the user to fill in gaps easily if they miss something said on the other end of the phone. Large and easy to read, the text on the Clarity Ensemble Phone will ensure there are no miscommunications.
More than that, the Clarity Ensemble Phone amplifies incoming sound up to 50 decibels, so that the hearing impaired has a chance of relying on their ears rather than they eyes. Funded by the United States government, the ClearCaptions phone captioning service is currently available in English only and for US residents.
