Some city traffic lights can seem as though they are never going to change between different stages, so the 'FIK' system is intended to offer a visualized way to know things are working accordingly.
The 'FIK' light features rings and strips that visually countdown without the use of numbers to make it possible to know when you can expect it to change. The operation consists of the green section activating for between 20 to 60 seconds, the amber section for three-seconds and the red section for 20 to 60 seconds. This allows cities or administrators to adjust the settings accordingly to ensure that it suits their specific roadways as specifically as possible.
The 'FIK' city traffic lights are the design work of Edmund Liew.
