Low-Slung Concept Racers

The Citroen Maglev is Designed to Tear up the Track and the Sky

The year 2030 may be a little too soon for the Citroen Maglev's debut. The Maglev is a three-wheel racer that runs on electric power and can also become an airplane. This design was created by Ozgun Culam and is one of the more ambitious Citroen concept cars around.

The Citroen Maglev was purposefully designed to be as low to the ground as possible to prevent the vehicle from flipping over at high speeds. The driver is seated in the center to even out the weight distribution and the vehicle is powered by its rear wheel and steered with its two front wheels. The world may not be ready for the Citroen Maglev by 2030, but hopefully the technology and desire to create flying racecars is available by 2050 and beyond.
