UK-based retailer size? works in collaboration with adidas Originals Archive on the new Cinco de Mayo series just before the Mexican holiday. It is one of the biggest days in Mexican heritage and falls on the Fifth of May. To celebrate the date that falls on when Mexico took victory over the French Empire back in 1862, the duo unveil a series of footwear in bright tones.
It highlights hues of purple and orange in the form of the adidas Mexicana. Both of the vibrant palettes are detailed with hues of red, green, and yellow throughout the upper. Speaking of which, the upper is made from suede and is accented with speckled leather in the form of the Three Stripes branding on the heel counter and lateral side of the shoe.
