George Larnicol is a French chocolatier who successfully built and sailed a chocolate boat in Concarneau, France. The chocolate boat weighed 1.2 tonnes and was built out of sugar and chocolate.
Larnicol sailed around the harbor in the chocolate boat, which took four full hours to build. Larnicol is already setting his sights higher though, as he plans to build a 12-meter chocolate yacht by 2012.
Implications - Let's take a moment here and really consider what this thing is. It's a boat, made entirely out of chocolate and sugar. How the sailor is supposed to travel on this thing without feeling the urge to suddenly take a bite out of it is beyond my understanding.
