GPA Cannabis is the North American arm of global packaging manufacturer GPA Global. Recently the brand collaborated with rising stars of the East Coast cannabis scene, Happy Valley, to manufacture revolutionary packaging. The product in question is a seven-pack of Happy Valley’s 0.5g premium pre-rolls, which now come housed in stylish – and fully recyclable – tin containers.
For this project, the GPA team selected one of its own custom, child-resistant tin formats – the LS-2 – and printed it inside and out in full PMS color, adding a soft matte finish. Branding was added to the top of the lid, along with some bold embossed text.
To open the tin, the user must engage the child-proof buttons on the front and lift the lid. Inside they’ll find their pre-rolls in a custom tin insert in that same bold shade of red, nestled against a white match compartment printed with Happy Valley’s distinctive key logo. A striking surface attached to the inside of the lid can be used to light the matches, making for a quick and simple user experience. This is definitely a pre-roll tin that offers more than you expect.
