As a rule of thumb I have a real problem with room dividers but I do like the giant cheese grater room divider. However, be careful not to fall into it... ;)
This art piece is called 'Paravent'. It was created by London-based Lebanese artist Mona Hat. Design Boom describes her background, "Born in lebanon, artist mona hatoum has lived in london since 1975 where she studied at the byam shaw school of art and the slade school of art. She was nominated for the prestigious turner prize in 1995... She initially worked in performance art and has since moved into sculpture and installation."
I'd love to add more, but there is only so much I can say about a giant cheese grater.
