Customers can fill in information pertaining to their home and can then receive a quote to compare with others. Users are also able to obtain contact information from the website, in order to set up installation.
The new feature was possible through a partnership with Qmerit, and Chevy is hopeful the initiative will allow more people to switch to electric vehicles. This is because installing at-home charging was previously seen as a reason to not own an electric car, but with the new website, it may make adopting the technology easier.
