Desert Superhero Fashion

Cat Power in V Magazine

V Magazine jumps on the superhero bandwagon with a Catwoman themed editorial in its V56 Winter issue entitled, ‘Cat Power’.

However, instead of just one supermodel Catwoman, as we saw in recent shoots by Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, we get two catwomen with attitude, in the form of models Masha Novoselova and Vika Kuropyatnikov.

Photographer Ellen Von Unwerth created a desert roadtrip theme in which Masha and Vika were styled by Charlotte Stockdale in Diesel Black Gold overalls (worn as pants), YSL jacket and boots, Linda Farrow sunglasses, Georgio Armani skirt and other edgy pieces.

I particularly like the interaction between the models in the second image. It is more exciting than merely posing as Catwoman.
