This Casey Girard series, entitled ‘Animals in Alphabet’, is highly evocative of the picture books kindergarten teachers used to read to students in order for them to learn letters. The difference is that the illustrations in this wildlife-inspired typeface are rendered with meticulous fidelity to what each respective animal looks like in the real world. In some instances, the images may even teach viewers a thing or two about the creature. Who knew aardvarks looked so different from Arthur Read of the popular children’s book and television series?
