Natilus, a California-based startup that specializes in developing solutions for the international air cargo industry, is launching a high-tech cargo drone that makes use of autonomous technology as well as a novel structure that allows it to carry significantly more freight than other aircraft of a similar size.
The Natilus N3.8T cargo drone is capable of carrying up to 3,855 kg of goods in a space that allows it to transport an estimated 60 percent more cargo that similarly sized drones and crafts. What's more, the drone's unique blended wing body and air frame allow it to achieve massive savings when it comes to carbon dioxide emissions, giving it strong eco-friendly credentials.
By allowing for the transportation of more goods at a reduced cost to the environment, this cargo drone offers a handy alternative over existing air freight solutions.
