The five storey car fully-automatic vending machine building works just like a candy or soda dispensing machine. When a consumer arrives, they are given a customized over-sized coin that is dropped into the vending machine slot. This triggers a "robotic arm, which goes up and grabs the car that the customer purchased online."
The Carvana dealership decided to move its business to an online platform, which simplified the process of purchasing a vehicle. When the dealership noticed that consumer would prefer to pick up their vehicles as opposed to having the car delivered, the idea of a vending machine emerged.
