Rado Switzerland announced the Captain Cook Chronograph watch as the newest addition to its Captain Cook series of heritage watches. The Captain Cook Chronograph runs off of an all-new R801 automatic movement that boasts a 59-hour power reserve and a time accuracy of +/- 5 seconds per day. The timepiece features scratch-resistant sapphire glass, illuminated Super-LumiNova markings, and water resistance of up to 300 meters.
In terms of design, the Captain Cook Chronograph is available in three distinct colorways. The watch comes in a silver and black colorway, a silver and blue color, or a premium blue and gold option. Each colorway features a standard design of a chromatic single-colored dial with silver or gold line markings. However, the gold version retails for approximately $1,000 USD more than the other two resulting from its use of premium materials.
