My inner nerd and closet foodie are begging me to book a flight to Tokyo to try out the new CAPCOM Bar. The CAPCOM Bar is an upcoming restaurant in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward that serves dishes inspired by CAPCOM's famous video games.
A few of the dishes from the CAPCOM Bar have been previewed and they look delicious. The Resident Evil brain cake and the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney pasta are the early standouts in my eyes. In addition to serving food, the restaurant will give gamers the chance to play the company's latest titles as well as purchase gear for their in-game characters. Japan is pretty big on gaming, but I could see something like this also taking off in America. We fell in love with DDR and karaoke after all.
