Inspired by Dante Alighieri's immortal 14th century, 'The Divine Comedy,' the Cantos: The Rings of Hell and Heaven jewelry collection is comprised of some bold and edgy ring designs. A project that began over a decade ago in 2001, the stunning designs are hand-carved and hand-cast in either sterling silver or gold, or a blend of the two.
Created by Anne Fischer, an artist based in New York City, the Cantos: The Rings of Hell and Heaven jewelry collection is essentially wearable art. Incredibly detailed, most of the pieces revolve around large portions of text from the poem itself while a few others interpret it through imagery. Currently, the collection is comprised of 23 pieces, 11 of which belong in the sub-category Hell and 12 that belong in Heaven.
