Cosmo Capturing Cameras

The Canon Eos 60da DSLR Takes Intergalactic Photos of Space

The Canon EOS 60Da DSLR has been tweaked and specially designed to shoot stellar pictures of far-out phenomenon taking place in the nighttime sky.

An advancement on other astrophotography cameras in the Canon lineup, this new model has been designed to accurately capture reddish hues created from hydrogen emissions taking place far from the Earth's surface.

It is designed to accommodate long-exposure shooting and also boasts 1080p HD video that shoots in 'Silent Mode.' This helps to eliminate vibrations from the shutter, which can disrupt the sound quality of the video.

The camera can also be attached to a telescope using a T-ring adapter to capture images of events happening even further into space. Retailing at $1500 US, the DSLR is among the higher end models in the Canon series, but if it works nearly half as good as it claims the price would be well worth it for the stunning images it captures.
