Delectable Luminary Branding

Candylight Packaging Wraps Sweetly Scented Accessories

Despite being inedible, Candylight packaging takes advantage of the way taste and smell can sell a product based on the idea of offering consumers a total sensory experience.

Vadim Paschenko of Ukraine took up the project of designing an identity for handmade paraffin candles. The concept chosen takes advantage of a sweet scent by bundling the wax sticks up in wrappers that resemble those that seal sugary treats. Soft and simple ornamentation covers Candylight packaging with hearts, spots and fuzzy stripes. One's sense of sight delights when appreciating the overall aesthetic effect of each item, composed with twisted paper ends and cute patterns that reflect the charming nature of the lovely luminaries. This project affords the eyes and the taste buds the pleasure of guessing the splendor of the candles’ fragrances.
