As a part of 3 Days of Design, Objective Studies, a digital platform showcases the Calm Place exhibition that unveils its profits with designers and makers. The capsule highlights various furniture and homeware that are made by 10 designers and studios -- all of these are marketed and sold from the platform. The objects were showcased in a scenography influenced by Korshagehus, which is a modern summerhouse in Denmark. It was staged at Reugio, a studio in the Østerbro neighborhood.
Designer Matteo Fogale and e-commerce expert Lijana Norkaityte co-founder of Objective Studies speak to Dezeen about the project. They note, "We are building a business model where we will share equal profits with designers and makers. We joined the industry with the belief that we can put designers and makers at the forefront, and shed light on the quality and hours needed to create unique objects that will stand the test of time."
