ChatGPT has been accelerating with constant new progressions and implementations -- one of which is the Call Annie app. It uses the popular OpenAI chatbot and developers have created a video way to communicate with a CGI woman. The app allows users to talk to 'Annie' similar to video-chatting with a friend as it is developed to quickly respond.
The new app is free to use but is only available for iPhone 12 models or newer -- those that are updated to at least the iOS 16 version. Call Annie is created by Animato.Ai and it explains that Annie's face was generated on Midjourney and then animated in correlation with a speech in real time. Additionally, users are also able to speak to Annie on macOS 13 computers.
