Calligraphy Meets Street Art in These Beautiful Works by Shoe

This is brilliant--a stroke of genius combines calligraphy and graffiti.

The leader in the awesome field of calligraffiti is Niels Meulman, aka Shoe. His work has already been seen in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. He’s truly set to become a new, and at last different, icon of the street art world. Sadly, his Holland-based expo has just closed.

I am heading to Amsterdam in a few weeks and going to make a massive point to check out some of his work in person for sure.
