In an effort to conserve water during the ongoing California drought, this app was developed to help Los Angelenos report instances of water wasting. Everydrop LA is a smartphone app that engages citizens to keep Los Angeles green.
The same team behind the CitySourced platform to report civic issues created Everydrop LA because they believe even the smallest wasteful action can have longterm consequences. Using the mobile application, people living in California drought-affected areas can report the location of water wastage like leaking fire hydrants or faucets. They can also view how much water is being wasted in their area and see what they can do to improve conservation efforts.
Currently the Everydrop LA app is available for Android with an iOS version coming soon.
