Located in the heart of Spikeri, Riga’s creative quarter, the Cafe Dali by design studio Annvil pays homage to the surrealism art movement.
Inspired by Salvador Dali’s works, the cafe features an interior design that plays with the perception of its visitors. Latvian interior designer Anna Butele of Annvil highlighted unique shapes and symbols associated with the artist when reinventing this hospitality space.
"With an industrial aesthetic, Riga’s former warehouse district has a distinct artistic, if not eccentric vibe, and this Dali-inspired cafe fits in perfectly".
Cafe Dali’s central focus is its eye-adorned bar which features curved and floating design details. The cafe’s walls are textured and are displayed in a palette of blue and gold tones that are a reference to Dali’s favorite colors.
