'Ride1Up,' the San Diego-based electric bicycle manufacturer, has unveiled the 'Class 3 Cafe Cruiser' at a price point of $1,595. What is unique about this e-bike is that it is designed to be stable on sandy beaches, which appeals to travelers who frequent the beach or sandy areas.
This e-bike features a maximum speed of 38mph with a 750-W motor that delivers 60Nm of torque to the wheels. The battery on this cafe cruiser is 48-V which can deliver 50 miles of distance per charge. This is roughly two hours of traveling at max speed. On top of this, the rear section of the bike is capable of holding a load of up to 130lb, which means a second seat could be fitted for another rider.
The design for the bike is stylish with the battery and motor hidden away from plain sight within the tubes of the bike. The Class 3 Cafe Cruiser is available in two frame types with three colors per type, which gives prospective consumers six options to choose from. The colors are blue, silver, and gray for each frame type.
