This upcoming cabin-themed residential complex is a six-storey collective inspired by the distinct aesthetic of a northern escape in the heart of the city.
Located in Toronto, Ontario, the sculptural facade of the 'CABIN' condo complex was designed by RAW studio, and is made from a wood and metal exterior designed to mimic the look of a Northern Canadian cottage. The interior of each home was designed by Toronto-based design firm Mason Studio, and features a charmingly warm and nostalgic wooden theme throughout.
To celebrate the upcoming project, a presentation center was built entirely from reusable shipping containers featuring the same cabin-themed interior. By choosing shipping containers over a more permanent structure, the temporary instillation can therefore be recycled afterword instead of simply being demolished.
