Butaro hospital is a 150-bed health center in Rwanda that has just been completed by the humanitarian-minded MASS Design Group.
The young architectural firm was formed by Harvard students looking to make a difference. In fact, even though their first project is complete, some of the company's members are still in school. Despite this however, Butaro Hospital services 400,000 people, made use of local workers and materials, and even came in under budget.
