LinkedIn recently launched an all-new business platform entitled LinkedIn Lookup that allows you to search fellow industry professionals, co-workers and even skills. The basis of the app came from a study that the brand did that showcased that employees assume they can perform better at their own role if they were able to search the skills of their fellow coworkers.
The app is based off of LinkedIn's database, allowing users to tap into data sorted from various accounts. Users can search their coworkers based on their skills, title, education and past roles. Users can also communicate amongst one another through the app via messaging and free InMails.
