Burberry Men's Fall/Winter 2016 presentation was a bittersweet fashion show. With the news of rock legend David Bowie's passing being announced only moments prior to the show, the historic British fashion house chose to honor the 'Heroes' singer.
While the collection itself is a cocktail of styles including common luxe, sporty elegance and civilian utilitarianism, the brand's Creative Director Christopher Bailey rearranged the show's presentation by sending his models down the catwalk to the beat of Bowie's greatest hits while also adorning the group with tribute-paying beauty looks. While model Hayett McCarthy strutted down the catwalk with 'BOWIE' written across her exposed palms, others wore stardust glitter around their eyes.
Though a last minute alteration, the Burberry Men's show certainly did its part to honor the iconic musician.
