Those who passionately follow cars may recognize the influence behind Alan Guerzoni's Bugatti Atlantique concept car. Guerzoni's design pays homage to the Type 57S Atlantic Coupe, a Bugatti all the way from the 1930s that is famous for looking like the ultimate luxury mobstermobile. This concept retains the mobster look but with an eye cast to performance.
In designing the Bugatti Atlantique concept car, Guerzoni imagined what would have happened if the French automaker had resettled in Italy. The end result is a concept car with as much visual flair as power. In addition to looking stylish, the Atlantique would be eco-friendly and fast. It would sport a 4.0-liter V12 engine good for 650 horsepower that would power the rear wheels. A 200 horsepower electric motor with a KERS system would power the front wheels.
