Bryan Derballa is a freelance documentary photography that has contributed his work to The Wall Street Journal, Nike, Wired.com and much more.
His recent work for Huck Magazine took him to the beautiful New Zealand for a surfing tournament. Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Bryan Derballa was definitely surprised by the geographical differences as it was his first time visiting the oceanic country.
Derballa spent a few days after the tournament, however, just photographing the sheer beauty that was New Zealand. Waterfalls, star-lit skies, hectors of farm land and much more were caught by Derballa who definitely will not forget this trip. I think he should send these photos to the New Zealand tourism board as they would make great brochure photos.
