Shaden has expanded her extensive collection of photographs to incorporate even more surreal snapshots. This series of captures is purely fantastical, and very reminiscent of mystic fairytales. They have a medieval feel to them, as their settings and subjects seem regal, antique and a little dark.
Unlike many photographers, Brooke doesn't focus on capturing extremely bright colors, but instead opts for rich ones. Although many of her photos are shrouded in shade or darker settings, the colors of her figures and costumes are incredibly rich. Her subjects rarely face the camera -- they turn away from the audience, lending an air of mystery.
