Retro Valise Arcades

Take Your Favorite Games to Work with the Briefcase Arcade Machine

Forget about the Xbox One or PS4, it's all about the briefcase arcade machine.

Created by Travis Reynolds, the briefcase arcade machine (or briefcade, as it's also called) combines corporate office looks and transportability with old-school gaming fun. Travis made his briefcase arcade machine by buying a used $5 dollar briefcase, tearing out an old LCD monitor and then buying and installing a Sanwa-style joystick and buttons. To play games, Travis runs an emulator that lets him play a variety of arcade hits. With the briefcase arcade machine, you can play games at work and no one will be the wiser.

As a kid, I always wondered what people were carrying in their briefcase. Had I known it was an arcade machine I probably would have entered the workforce a little sooner.
