Botswana by Zack Seckler Captures Stunning Images of Wildlife

At first glance, the photo series titled Botswana by Zack Seckler, a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York, could pass more for a collection of paintings. The images seem impossibly minimalist and clean for them to be real. But they are, and that is a testament to the vision and skill of the photographer, the same one known for his surreal signature style.

Currently on display at the Robin Rice Gallery in New York until mid-February, Botswana by Zack Seckler focuses on African wildlife 500 feet from above the ground. Seckler reveals, "It was like gliding over an enormous painting and being able to create brushstrokes at will." So perhaps the painting comparison isn't so far-fetched.
