Scosche has released models of its BoomBottle speaker in the past, but the new BoomBottle MM Bluetooth speaker is the first to make literal reference to its name. The durable speakers, which were unveiled at CES 2018, feature a functional bottle opener built into the side of the device.
Like previous models, the BoomBottle MM is IP67-certified, meaning that it's highly water- and dust-resistant. Aside from the bottle opener, the new speaker has convenient additions like magnets in both the bottom and top ends. The bottom magnet firmly mounts the speaker onto any magnetic surface, and the top magnet safely secures phones to the top of the device.
All in all, the BoomBottle MM shows that Scosche recognizes how its speakers are used in the real world, and the company is able to respond accordingly.
