Cringe alert: the Wall Street Journal picked their top innovations for 2008. In the Medical Devices area, they gave the gold to Vidacare for the EZ-IO. It's a high speed drill with a super-duper needle to (pucker up) bore into bones and inject meds or other fluids. If I ever need this, I don't want to know that it was used on me, I have a pucker factor with my water pic.
