Designer Judicael Cornu is attempting to negate the damage done to eardrums by headphones and earbuds with his new Bone Conduction Headphones. The headphones use bones in the fingers, arms and head to safely transmit sound to the ears.
The Bone Conduction Headphones consist of three parts: a bracelet, ring and hollowed headphones. Each piece can be worn independently based upon how you like to listen to your music. Most people will probably go the headphones route as it is easiest, requiring you to simply put on your headphones and listen to the music pumped through the bones in your skull. If you prefer an alternative listening experience, you can always attach the bracelet to your wrist to have music pumped through your forearm. The ring requires you to pinch it between two fingers and press it up to either your jaw or skull to hear music.
People are becoming increasingly health conscious and would likely jump at a new opportunity to preserve their bodies while still being able to listen to the music they love by using the Bone Conduction Headphones.
