After being shown at the Paris Motor Show in 2008, BMW is getting prepared to release the X1 SUV.
The automaker has released teaser photos of the car (with the least amount of disguise), as well as a video to preface the X1’s appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
This will be BMW’s first dive into the compact SUV category and they are looking to steadily compete with the likes of Toyota’s RAV4 and Honda’s CR-V.
Starting at an expected $30,000 (and BMW is planning to top production of 100,000 models), the BMW X1 should fit right it.
